Make a plan to live comfortably and cheaply all year round with a home energy assessment from an independent expert. I'm a former chemical engineer with over 8 years experience assessing 200+ homes and upgrading 50+ homes. I've always been a sole trader and never taken money for referrals.
If you'd like, I can install upgrades, help you get them done or point you to good installers.
I'm an accredited Residential Efficiency Scorecard (RES) assessor and I'm fully insured to assess and install upgrades.

Standard home energy assessment (3 hours): $200 plus $2 per km from Keilor East
Scorecard (RES) assessment (+1 hour in home): add $100
Upgrades: $600 per day of labour, plus materials and travel. Most homes need 1-3 days labour to make a good difference. Materials are cheap unless you're installing appliances or adding lots of insulation.

A discussion of any priority issues you have, which could also include noise, water leaks etc.
Thermal camera assessment. The time and day are always chosen to allow a thermal camera inspection. Winter assessments are in the morning, summer in the afternoon.
