Cosy Concepts was started with the observation that few homes in Victoria (and Australia) are built with energy efficiency in mind. Beyond ticking the boxes for regulations, minimum attention is put into passive design principles, air sealing, insulation and all-electric appliances.
I am a former chemical engineer currently working as a Dad and a home comfort and energy assessor. I am also an accredited Residential Efficiency Scorecard (RES) assessor. I mantain an active teaching registration by teaching at Community Centres and Secondary schools.Â
I've got a seven year old daughter and another on the way, so on the best of days, I'm a busy man!
My aim is to offer a service at a reasonable price point (it's not rocket science), then recommend cost-effective improvements to make your home more cosy.
