Is your house uncomfortably hot or cold? Are your bills sky high?
Make a cost effective plan to live comfortably and cheaply all year round with a home energy assessment from an independent expert. I'm a former chemical engineer and school teacher with over 9 years experience assessing 200+ homes and upgrading 50+ homes. I've always been a sole trader and never taken money for referrals.
If you'd like, I can install upgrades, help you get them done or point you to good installers.
I was an accredited Residential Efficiency Scorecard (RES) assessor until it closed and I'm fully insured for assessments and upgrades. I don't do NatHERS assessments or anything compliance related.
Standard home energy assessment (3 hours): $220 plus roughly $3 per km from Keilor East
Upgrades: to achieve comfort, typically $1-5k. Costs usually scale with home age and size. Newer homes usually require around $1000 while large, old homes usually require $5000+, especially if appliance replacements are required.
A discussion of any priority issues you have, which could also include noise, water leaks etc.
Thermal camera assessment. I always bring my thermal camera but it does require at least 6 degrees difference between inside and out.
